Growth Opportunity
The challenge was to simplify a complex IoT feature for end-users while ensuring adoption and comprehension. The team needed:
- Clear onboarding and interaction guidance through motion and storytelling.
- Usability testing to validate designs and inform iterations.
- Internal standards for communicating design intent consistently across teams.
I built a storyboarding library and authored an internal blog, standardizing storytelling practices and enabling designers and stakeholders to communicate design intent more effectively.
I led usability tests, including script creation, testing, and actionable reporting. Iterative prototypes helped refine the feature to ensure it met user needs.
Using After Effects and Illustrator, I created animations to improve onboarding and help users understand complex interactions.
