Growth Opportunity

The project required designing an efficient tool that could be adopted smoothly by users while remaining maintainable by internal teams. Challenges included:
  • Ensuring usability in a regulated environment.
  • Balancing design vision with engineering feasibility.
  • Creating reusable components to support future projects.
  • Strengthening collaboration between design, product, and engineering teams.

Supporting Launch and Iteration

The reusable design library ensured consistency across components and allowed the system to scale for future tools.

I led the design of the request form from start to finish, creating IA, mapping user flows, iterating prototypes, and developing a reusable design library.

I partnered closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure design decisions balanced usability and feasibility. This collaboration enabled smoother implementation and higher adoption rates.

I provided launch documentation and facilitated iterative improvements, ensuring the tool met user needs and internal requirements post-launch.

Personal Reflection

This project reinforced how critical it is to balance usability, feasibility, and compliance. By owning both the design and scalable components, I delivered a tool that supported users, developers, and the organization while strengthening cross-functional collaboration.

Results

  • Improved request processing efficiency through a streamlined, user-friendly interface.
  • Reusable design assets established for future projects, ensuring consistency and scalability.
  • Stronger team collaboration across design, product, and engineering.
